Mead Johnson Teams Up with TalkShop
Mead Johnson is launching “Enfakid A+ Learn System” to highlight the need to harness key factors in healthy brain development of children. These comprise five areas: language , entertainment, art, recreation, and nutrition to be represented by a L.E.A.R.N. train module to be set up in select sites and malls. The educational campaign which starts in March will run for one year. The project targets kids, parents, doctors and health professionals.
It all starts with the best nutrition through Enfakid A, now formulated with more than four times the DHA and triple protection guard for smarter, healthier kids. With language being the key to learning in all areas, Mead Johnson set out to look for a partner that would be equal to the task, and found it in TalkShop.
Patti Mallari, Saatchi & Saatchi Executive who handles the Mead Johnson account said, “TalkShop was a shoo-in primarily for its Integrated Language Teaching (ILT) method that integrates all language skills- speaking, reading, writing, and listening with personality development and even values reinforcement.” Sheila Viesca, TalkShop CEO pioneered this teaching style in the Philippines in 2002 .
For her part, Viesca said, “It is a pleasure and a privilege to work with Mead Johnson on this worthwhile project, that takes on special meaning in the light of my advocacy for literacy and meaningful learning.”
TalkShop’s tasks includes preparation of educational materials and learning modules. Viesca will also lend her presence in medical association events, media functions, and interviews.
